1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking moving services with Worry Free Moving LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Worry Free Moving LLC.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. Your use of our services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
2. Moving Services
Worry Free Moving provides the following services:
- Local residential and commercial moving within Ohio and Pennsylvania
- Interstate household goods transportation (USDOT #3820498)
- Packing and unpacking services
- Loading and unloading services
- Specialty item handling (pianos, antiques, etc.)
- Storage services (where available)
- Junk removal services
All interstate moves are conducted in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Our published tariff, available at worryfreemovers.com/tariff, governs all rates and charges.
3. Estimates and Pricing
3.1 Types of Estimates
We provide the following types of estimates:
- Non-Binding Estimate: An approximation of charges based on the estimated weight or time of the move. Actual charges may be higher or lower.
- Binding Estimate: A guaranteed price for the move based on the items and services listed. Additional items or services will incur additional charges.
- Not-to-Exceed Estimate: The final price will not exceed the quoted amount, but may be lower if actual weight/time is less than estimated.
3.2 Local Moves
Local moves are billed hourly. Time begins when the crew arrives and ends when the truck is fully unloaded. A minimum charge applies as specified in our tariff.
3.3 Interstate Moves
Interstate moves are billed based on a combination of loading labor, transportation (per mile per hundredweight), unloading labor, and applicable surcharges. Full details are available in our published tariff.
4. Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required to secure your moving date
- For local moves, payment is due upon completion of services
- For interstate moves, payment may be required before unloading as per FMCSA regulations
- We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and approved checks
- Credit card payments are processed securely through Square
- Late payments may incur storage fees and interest charges
5. Liability and Claims
5.1 Valuation Coverage
We offer two levels of liability coverage as required by federal law:
- Released Value Protection: Included at no additional charge. Carrier liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per article.
- Full Value Protection: Available for an additional charge. Carrier is liable for the replacement value or repair cost of damaged items.
5.2 Filing Claims
Claims for loss or damage must be filed in writing within 9 months of delivery. We will acknowledge receipt within 30 days and provide a disposition within 120 days. Our arbitration program is available for unresolved disputes.
5.3 Exclusions
We are not liable for:
- Items packed by the customer (owner-packed boxes)
- Mechanical or electronic malfunctions of appliances
- Pre-existing damage
- Acts of God, war, or public authority
- Items of extraordinary value not declared in writing
6. Cancellation Policy
- More than 72 hours before move: Full refund of any deposit
- 48-72 hours before move: 50% of deposit may be retained
- Less than 48 hours before move: Deposit may be forfeited
- Rescheduling: One free reschedule with at least 48 hours notice

7. Prohibited Items
We cannot transport the following items:
- Hazardous materials (explosives, flammables, corrosives)
- Perishable food items
- Plants and live animals
- Illegal substances or contraband
- Firearms and ammunition (unless properly declared and secured)
- Items with extraordinary value exceeding $10,000 per item unless declared
8. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about items to be moved
- Disclose access conditions at origin and destination
- Be present or have an authorized representative present during the move
- Ensure clear pathways for movers
- Disconnect and prepare appliances for transport
- Empty dresser drawers and secure loose items
- Inform us of any items requiring special handling
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through our arbitration program as described in our Arbitration Agreement. This program is administered by Interstate Compliance Solutions in accordance with FMCSA requirements.
Before initiating arbitration, we encourage you to contact our customer service team to attempt informal resolution.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
