Privacy policy

This policy explains what Mariah's Picks collects when you use the store and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Orders: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and the shipping or pickup details you enter, so we can fulfill and support your order.
• Payment: card and wallet payments are processed by Square. Your card number never reaches our servers; we receive a payment confirmation, the card brand and the last four digits for your receipt.
• Account: if you create an account, your email, a hashed password, saved addresses, order history and any reviews you post.
• Reviews: the rating, text, photos and videos you choose to post, shown publicly with your first name and last initial.
• Browsing: which listings a browser views and adds to the cart, tied to a random session id stored in your browser, so we can show related items. These records expire after 180 days.
• Technical: server logs with IP addresses and request details, kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To process and ship orders, send order and account emails, answer support requests, show you related items, publish the reviews you post, prevent fraud and abuse, and understand which parts of the store are used. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who sees it

Square (payments), our email delivery provider (order and account emails), our hosting and storage providers, and shipping carriers (name and delivery address). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Cookies and browser storage

A session cookie keeps you signed in. Browser storage holds your cart, your recently viewed items and the random session id described above. No third-party advertising cookies are set.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your reviews and saved addresses from your account, delete your account yourself under Login and security (it removes your name, email, phone and addresses and signs you out everywhere; reviews stay as Former customer), or ask us by writing to the support email on our Contact page. We keep order records as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Children

The store is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
